Our refund and returns policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have passed since your purchase, we can’t offer you a full refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

This has been a non issue to date, no one has asked to return a Rack N Ride® Motorcycle Hitch Carrier once received.

After receiving your carrier if you decide you no longer want it, it’s not like returning a T-Shirt.

Our products are heavy and incur oversize bulky shipping charges plus we’ve take care to package parts to eliminate transport damage.
You will need to organize and pay the return freight.
Returns cannot be resold if there is damage from the return freight if the customer does not repackage like we do.

Returns for change of mind incur a 15% restocking fee, part of this covers the merchant transaction fees which are not refunded by the card companies on refunds.

We do not refund the original outgoing freight to deliver to you.

Custom made orders cannot be returned as they’ve been made especially for your application.

Cancelled Orders

If you place an order but decide to cancel before it has been shipped, there is a 3.7% cancelation fee.

This is the cost the payment gateway – Stripe – charge us to process the order.

When we refund a cancelled order, Stripe does not refund us the processing fee.

Changing your mind is fine, but that should not cost us 3.7% of the order total when your decision has nothing to do with us.

If your order has already been shipped out, we cannot recall it, you will have to return at your expense and the original freight out will not be refunded.

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

Refunds are processed back onto the card you made the purchase with through our payment gateway, this can take 5-10 days to appear on your statement.

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.

Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

Exchanges

We will replace items if they are defective or damaged.

To date we have had no defective parts but occasionally parts get damaged in freight, we will replace these parts.

Shipping returns

To return your product, pleas email or phone to discuss.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item.

Original outgoing shipping costs are non-refundable.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.

If you are returning more expensive items, you may consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
